When they were trying to lay their fallen comrade to rest, Lord Avitus, who had supposedly been killed in the battle, reappeared from the grave and slaughtered the entirety of Sir Cromwell's squadron. Lord Avitus had supposedly been killed in the battle. Sir Cromwell, who is about to pass away, uses his last breath to point you in the direction of a dungeon called the Hallowed Ossuary, which can be found to the southeast of where you are currently standing. You have to get rid of Lord Avitus as the second step in this process. You should first enter the Holy Ossuary, and once you have finished exploring that section of the dungeon, you should then start making your way through the rest of the dungeon. We are unable to tell you exactly where to find Lord Avitus because the location in which he spawns is completely arbitrary. Despite this, you should not be concerned about this because it is highly likely that he will find you.

When Sir Cromwell is finally laid to rest for all eternity, your work will be finished. At that point, his dying wish will be fulfilled, and your mission will come to a successful conclusion.

Helpful Counsel and Suggestions Regarding the Dangerous MartyrWhen Lord Avitus passes away, he leaves behind the Bloody Parchment, which offers a fascinating look into the history of undeath and its associated lore. This is especially intriguing for a person who had previously devoted themselves to working in service to the Light. After you have completed this quest, you may find that completing the Hallowed Ossuary dungeon is beneficial, particularly for barbarians. This is because the hallowed ossuary contains powerful weapons. This is especially the case if you have not yet carried out the action in question. If you are able to clear out the dungeon without dying, you will receive the Unrelenting Fury Aspect as a reward. In our rundown of the Altars of Lilith, we have included the tenth location, which is a short distance to the south of Sir Cromwell and is denoted by the number 10.
