How To Ambush a Hit

Step into the Batter's Box: 

As you enter the batter's box, you'll be presented with MLB The Show 25 Stubs the opportunity to make a guess: inside or outside.

Make Your Guess: 

Use the Right Stick to flick in the direction you think the pitch will go. When you choose a side, it will be highlighted faintly in white on your screen.

Position Your PCI: 

Once you've made your guess, place your PCI on that side of the plate where you think the pitch is coming.

Swing: When the pitcher releases the ball, press the swing button at the right moment. If your prediction was correct, your expanded PCI will give you a better chance at landing a solid contact.

As you play through games, try to observe the pitcher's preferred locations and pitch types.
